A new fun way for young people to play basketball

What is happening? During 2023 3x3ballers are bringing a new kind of basketball event to young people based on 3x3

What is 3x3? It is the basketball that most people know as 3on3, where teams of 3 (and substitutes) play each other, shooting into the same basket. No coaches allowed! Players just have fun and learn how to work things out with their teammates

So why 3x3 instead of 3on3? FIBA, basketball’s world governing body, recognised that there are a lot of people who play basketball casually and are not members of clubs. So, they created a set of standards to allow players around the world to play 3on3 with the same set of rules. They gave it a new name to make it stand out as a new take on 3on3

What is 3x3ballers doing with 3x3? During 2023 3x3ballers will be giving teams opportunities to play games in central venues local to them. You will just need to get together a team of 4 or 5 friends who want to play together. Then just register your team and turn-up. 3x3ballers will take care of all the arrangements
