3x3ballers is off to Europe to see major 3×3 championships

Even though the UK is turning its back on Europe after the Brexit vote, 3x3ballers won’t be abandoning the continent. We are going to jet across the Channel this summer to witness first hand some major 3×3 basketball tournaments.

FIBA 3×3 World Cup 2017

Firstly, we will be attending the 3×3 World Cup that will take place in Nantes, France in June. 20 men’s and 20 women’s national teams from around the world will be taking part. This is the premier global championship for 3×3 basketball.

FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup 2017

In July we are off to Amsterdam, Netherlands for the FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup. It is the Europe zone 3×3 championships for national teams. There will be 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams taking part.

FIBA 3×3 World Tour

We round off our European travels with a trip to the Lausanne Masters edition of the 3×3 World Tour. The Swiss city is the fourth stop on the tour and will take place in August. 12 men’s teams representing their cities will be fighting it out for a place in the World Tour Final in Beijing, China in October.
